| Schleich Animals |
The now famous Schleich animal toy figurines first came to life in the 60ies. At that time we started to concentrate on the development, production and marketing of comic figurines. And they are still popular and well known: The Smurfs, Snoopy, The Muppet Show characters and many many more. Since the early 80ies we added animal toy figurines to our range of products and consequently extended this area. The animal toy play worlds created over the years are a true reflection of nature in a smaller scale. Spanning from the lost world of the dinosaurs to domestic and wild animals of the presence. Schleich as a company is now in its third generation of ownership. Two of the three owners act as managing directors. The design of the Schleich animal toy products and the creation of the required tools are being done in house, thus enabling us to control the initial vital steps of creating a new product. The production itself takes place at the company`s German headquarters and in a number of production facilities in foreign countries. Scleich S animal toys products are being marketed world wide.
