The American Retro pedal planes are developed of a heavy gauge steel just as in the originals, however American Retro added heaps of chrome to the picture. The windshield lining, steering wheel, hubcaps, exhaust ports, propeller, hub caps and hood scoops are all chrome. Propellers even turn when the plane is pedaled! The pedal cars are also loaded with chrome, and most are modeled after the “sad face” sedans of the 1940’s. Each item also has adjustable pedals for children of diverse ages (2-6yrs.) and sizes.
